Parents of American Samoa students attending public schools in the areas affected by a boil water notice from the American Samoa Power Authority have now been asked to supply bottled water for their children.
Sofa Seumalo of the Department of Education says schools in the affected area were told earlier this week to ask parents to supply their children with bottled water.
The boil water notice was issued three weeks ago after testing found some Authority wells were contaminated with E-coli bacteria.
