PNG expects tough challenge

The Papua New Guinea under 19s rugby coach, Sydney Wesley, says today's Oceania Championship pool match against Cook Islands could be their toughest of the tournament.

PNG had a convincing 67-nil win over Vanuatu in their opening pool match, but Wesley says the side knows Cook Islands will be a completely different challenge.

"I expect a much tougher opponent than Vanuatu. I know the Cook Islands, a lot of their players are all, or most, are New Zealand based and they're quite big and I think they play a much more structured rugby than Vanuatu so I think it will be a lot tougher."

Sydney Wesley says his team will need to play their best rugby to beat win today, with Cook ISlands strong in all aspects of the game.
