At least 34 jobs are expected to open up when American Samoa welcomes its first swap meet fair in October.
The Tafuna Indoor Swap Meet will be housed at the front portion of TJ Gym at the Industrial Park.
The business is the latest commercial venture by SGroup a California based business which is the largest importer of kukui and fresh leis in the mainland.
Willie Salavea says 75 percent of the booths will be local businesses, and 25 percent will sell merchandize that they will bring in from the mainland.
They'll also have mainland car auctions and will set up a factory thats expected to create up to 100 jobs, to assemble kukui nut leis with a license to supply to more than 70 mainland universities.
