The registration of candidates for this November's General Elections in Tonga will be held for two days on October 21st and 22nd.
The election supervisor, Pita Vuki, says registration will be possible between 10am to 3pm on both dates.
He says Tongatapu registration will be held at the Electoral Commission office in central Nuku'alofa, while registration in the outer islands will be held at each government offices in Vava'u, Ha'apai, 'Eua and Niua.
Matangi Tonga online says candidates must pay a 200 US dollar registration fee.
It says candidates also need to provide documents from the Supreme Court and Magistrate's Court to confirm having no criminal record
Candidates also have to provide 50 signatures of registered voters from the constituency they are running in.
Meanwhile, a number of candidates have started campaigning for the election due on November the 25th.
