CNMI loses two Japan air links

The Marianas Visitors Authority has confirmed that Delta Air Lines' direct flights from both Osaka and Nagoya will be suspended from October to December.

The Authority's acting managing director, Judy Torres, says the suspension of the Osaka flight removes 177 seats daily.

With the loss of the Nagoya link, 182 seats a day will go.

With these anticipated reductions in air seats, the CNMI will be left with only a handful of remaining flights to the islands.

Three daily flights from Narita, two daily flights from Seoul, two to four weekly flights from Busan, and the twice-a-week service from Shanghai.
