The independent Vanuatu MP, Ralph Regenvenu, is to launch a new political party in Port Vila tomorrow to prepare for the 2012 election.
Mr Regenvanu says it will be known as the Ground and Justice Party and seek to encourage young people to become the new leaders of Vanuatu's future.
He says today it is very hard for young politicians to advance as old politicians control the party executives.
Mr Regenvanu says a key objective of his party is to revive the main ideas why Vanuatu gained its independence in 1980 such as land issues.
He says land in Vanuatu is now controlled by foreigners and business by the Chinese.
