The interim government in Fiji says Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni will resume duties with the military forces from next Monday.
It says this is in line with previous Prime Ministerial statements that any military officer seconded to serve in the Government would return once they completed the duties they were assigned.
Lt Col Leweni became permanent secretary of lands in April, after being replaced as permanent secretary of information by Sharon Smith-Johns.
