Samoa's Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, has described leaked United States secret communications about Samoa as no big deal.

A number of WikiLeaks cables are now widely available online featuring Samoa.

But Tuilaepa has told the Samoa Observer the secret cables are nothing and that it's a common practise of foreign affairs representatives to send comments as they see fit.

He expressed concerns about the law and justice sector, especially basic law enforcement capabilities and the ability to prosecute criminal cases and bring them to trial.
