The government in Vanuatu has further shored up its numbers, with another MP joining its ranks.
The Vanuatu Daily Post reports that Tafea Outer islands MP, Philip Charlie, has joined the government side.
This change of affiliation by the Vanua'aku Party MP has further consolidated the numbers of Prime Minister Sato Kilman's government.
The MP says it is the wish of the people of his electorate that he strengthen the government of the day to allow for more development for the Tafea outer islands in return.
