Papua New Guinea tennis star Marcia Tere Apisah is into today's women's final at the Margaret Court Cup in Albury, New South Wales.
Apisah was a part of the Pacific team which successfully took out the team event on the weekend for the first time.
The International Tennis Federation's Development Officer for Pacific Oceania, Dan O'Connell, says, while playing well, the 15 year old is still yet to hit top form.
Marcia did very well yesterday, playing the number one seed in the ladies open. She was down 2-5 and came back to win 7-5 - she's showing some true grit her older sister Abigail. I don't think she's playing her best tennis right now, she's playing pretty well, but if Marcia rises to the occasion she would have a very good chance of winning.
Players from every state in Australia are taking part in the tournament, with about 400 players competing all up.
