CNMI school gets funding for energy project

The Northern Marianas public school system has got funding for a green energy project at the Saipan Southern High School and 10 other schools throughout the territory.

The project will provide for solar panels and wind turbines at the schools.

The CNMI Division of Energy is to provide the schools with about 2 point four million US dollars from the 6 and a half million it's received from the U.S. Department of Energy for renewable projects.
