The Fiji Police Force is conducting an investigation into a number of officers of the Fiji Military Forces and some civilians for possible breach of the public emergency regulations.
This was confirmed to FBC News by the Police Commissioner Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua.
Brigadier Naivalurua says investigations are still under way and it would be improper to give any more details at this stage.
FBC News says it understands that some officers and civilians have been questioned but no one has been charged.
