A nearly week long police led search in Samoa has failed to find the bodies of a man and his wife in their mid-50s believed to have drowned while fishing at a bay on Savaii Island.
The police spokesperson says the couple went fishing with their son last Thursday evening but the 20 year old went home without them because they failed to meet him at the car as arranged.
The search the following day found a wrist watch and a cell phone on a rock and a bamboo used as a fishing rod was found floating in the sea.
