Pitcairns crafts to go on display in New Zealand

The crafts, culture and foods of Pitcairn will on display in the New Zealand capital Wellington next month.

Coinciding with a focus on Maori and Pacific art at New Zealand's national museum, Te Papa, the British High Commission will showcase Pitcairn, including the work of tapa artist, Meralda Warren.

Other handicrafts and Pitcairn products on display and for sale on the night will include wood carvings, jewellery and cookbooks.

There will also be an opportunity to sample traditional Pitcairn food and products such as honey from the remote island.
