The Executive Chairman of the Fiji Sugar Corporation is on his way to London to meet with sugar buyers.
According to FBC news, Abdul Khan is expected to meet with Tate and Lyle Refinery to finalize a new sugar price.
Mr Khan told FBC news last month he had successfully negotiated a new price with Tate and Lyle for the 2011 crushing season.
The Sugar Corporation's General Manager of Finance Ali Ubadutt has been appointed to look after all affairs until Mr Khan returns next week.
