The Cook Islands prime minister, Henry Puna, is increasing the size of his cabinet, adding three associate ministers.
The changes mean the trio get nearly 4,000 US dollars extra pay.
Matavera MP Kiriau Turepu will be the associate minister of agriculture, Ngatangiia MP Atatoa Herman will help with the government's environment portfolio, and John Henry is to be associate minister of finance and internal affairs.
