Bail applications for seven people being held in custody in the Cook Islands on drugs charges will be considered today by New Zealand judge, Justice Hugh Williams, in the High Court at Rarotonga.

Three weeks ago, 13 people were arrested on 55 mostly drugs-related charges after the country's biggest ever police investigation.

Six of the accused have since been given bail and the remaining seven will seek it today.
