Taiwan is funding 155 solar street lights on Nauru.
Last week, its ambassador, Timothy Hsiang, presented Nauru's president, Marcus Stephen, with a plaque acknowledging the project.
It's the second wave of solar lighting after the mini household solar bars that were distributed in December last year.
