Several college students in Samoa are due to appear in court over a brawl which involved students from different colleges.

The Police Commissioner, Lilomaiava Fou Taioalo, says police will no longer tolerate such action and the court can decide the fate of those involved in the latest brawl.

The police commissioner is also denying allegations that police were armed with sticks during the incident

Last year, Samoa's Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, called on school principals to expel students who become involved in brawls.

Some of the students in the latest incident are reported to have been expelled.
