The Papua New Guinea government is today due to receive a report on the health status of prime minister, Sir Michael Somare.
The national executive council is meeting and the Post Courier reports the acting prime minister, Sam Abal, saying they'll consider a report prepared by Sir Michael's personal physician, professor Sir Isi Kevau.
Sir Isi last week visited Sir Michael, who's been hospitalised in Singapore for more than 3 months.
