Samoa's contribution to the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands over the past 8 years is showcased in a one month photographic exhibition which starts today at Samoa's National Museum at Malifa.
The free exhibition will feature a wide range of images from across Solomon Islands, including the surrender of weapons, the arrest of key militants and the riots that shook Honiara in 2006.
It will also chart the progress that has been made, including the strengthening of the police force, the fight against corruption, and the rebuilding of the economy.
