In Vanuatu the director of Correctional Services, Johnny Marango, has confirmed three high risk inmates are still at large after escaping from the Maximum Security Centre in Port Vila.
He says the three men used a knife to threaten the guards at the gate to allow them to escape.
He says he has alerted the police to their escape and is appealing for public help to recapture them.
