The Solomon Islands opposition leader, Derek Sikua, has formally complained to the Leadership Code Commission, alleging that the prime minister Danny Philip acted illegally in selling a state-owned house to an MP.
Dr Sikua claims that Mr Philip hadn't obtained cabinet approval to sell the house at Tandai to the MP for West Honiara.
He says the opposition will ask the director of Public Prosecutions to investigate and wants a judicial review to stop the house sale.
