46 American Samoans chosen for new Samoan movie

46 American Samoans have made the cut to act in part two of Tuiga, the latest full-length film in the Samoan language produced by Southseas Pictures Limited.

The Apia-based company has earlier produced the Samoan movie 'Feagaiga Motusia' or 'Broken promise'.

The names of the future actors and actresses were revealed during the airing of Tuiga part one at Maliu Mai in American Samoa.

The company's head Tanupo Fugalevai Aukuso says more than 60 people auditioned to be part of the movie and they felt the 46 who were selected got the talent to act.
