About 4,200 workers at the Freeport McMoran copper and gold mine in Papua in Indonesia, have returned to work.
They're mostly contractors and non-union staff, but Reuters reports that it's allowed some mining to resume after 11 days of strike action.
A company spokesman Ramdani Sirait declined to comment on the impact on production and shipments after around half the workforce returned from the strike at the world's third-largest copper mine.
Workers, who've been on strike since September the 15th, are seeking pay levels similar to those given workers at other Freeport sites around the world.
