The acting chief executive of the Fiji rugby union says next week's review of the national team's world cup performance will be thorough.

Pio Bosco Tikoisuva says the review will start next Wednesday and could take three days.

On Thursday night the Union's board called a special general meeting to discuss the format of the review into the team which failed to get past pool play in New Zealand and finished their tournament with a heavy loss to Wales.

Mr Tikoisuva says many written reports, from within the team structure, will be submitted to the board.

"And at the same time next week, apart from getting all the documents presented to them each of those sectors, like the management, the coaches, the medics, the logistics, the trainers they will present individually"
