A plane carrying 32 people has crashed during a violent storm in Papua New Guinea.
It happened near the mouth of a river on the north coast, about 20 kilometres south of Madang.

Villagers are reported to have told a government-owned radio station there are only four survivors.
The Airlines PNG Dash-8 aircraft had been on a scheduled flight, and it's reported that most of the passengers were parents travelling to Madang for a university graduation ceremony.
