The All Blacks were prevented a clean-sweep of the IRB Awards last night, with France captain Thierry Dusautoir claiming the coveted player of the year award

The 29-year-old loose forward Dusautoir was named man of the match in Sunday night's final despite his side's 8-7 loss to the All Blacks, but admits he would give it up in a second for a world cup trophy.

New Zealand were predictably named team of the year, a day after winning their first world cup crown since 1987, while Graham Henry picked up his fifth coach of the year gong.

Meanwhile Manu Samoa great Brian Lima and former All Black wing Jonah Lomu were among the players inducted into the IRB hall of fame.
