Sport: Fiji netballers keeping realistic

Fiji are keeping realistic about their chances in the World FastNet Series, which begins in England next weekend.

The Pacific Cup champions have been included in the competition for the first time, alongside heavyweights New Zealand, Australia, England, Jamaica and South Africa.

Head coach Una Rokoura says the Fiji team is still very young and the key is for the players to utilise this exposure and learn from it.

"No we're not going to go for a win. We're going to try and just play and give the top five teams a good run and also get our players exposed to that level. And once we get exposed to that level and see what the standard is and how it's played, intensity, and then we come back it's part of our four year development plan in our preparation to qualify for the next FastNet competition next year."
