Tonga have lost 2-1 to Fijian club side Lautoka in a friendly match ahead of next weeks Oceania Nations Cup qualifying tournament.
A goal from a free kick in the final minutes gave Lautoka the winning goal on Thursday.
The ONC tournament begins in Apia on Tuesday with Tonga competing against Samoa, American Samoa and Cook Islands.
The winner of the preliminary stage event qualifying for a place in the group stage of the Oceania Nations Cup in June next year.
