Fiji's interim government has received an expression of interest in conducting electronic voter registration for the 2014 general election.
The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation reports the interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum saying the bid comes from a Canadian firm, CODE Incorporated, which undertook voter registration in The Gambia.
The Gambia's November 24th presidential elections have been condemned as lacking legitimacy by the West African regional body, ECOWAS.
Fiji's interim government has said voter registration will start early next year.
