Samoa police have filed ten charges including forgery and uttering forged documents against prominent businesswoman, Lemalu Sina Retzlaff Lima, despite an application by the complainant to drop the case.

She's a former president of the Chamber of Commerce and is married to former Manu Samoa rugby star Muliagatele Brian Lima.

The ten charges relate to the use of forged documents involving her father-in-law and her husband.

The documents were presented during the pursuit of a bank loan.
