Sport: EAP lose first one-day game

East Asia Pacific lost their opening one-day match at the Australian Country Cricket Championships in Geelong on Wednesday.

Queensland Country won the toss and dismissed the composite team for just 138 inside 40 overs.

Assad Vala top scored for the EAP team with 51 with the captain, Andrew Mansale, adding 24.

Queensland cruised to their target for the loss of four wickets with just under 14 overs to spare.

The EAP play their final match on Thursday against New South Wales Country.
