Three hundred thousand US dollars of funding has been given to home and nursing care services in the Cook Islands.
The Cook Islands News reports the Asian Development Bank and Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction has provided grants of 3 million dollars to the Cook Islands, Marshall Islands and Tonga under the ' Social Protection of the Vulnerable in the Pacific Program'.
In the Cook Islands, it will be used for pilot programmes for the elderly and disabled.
