Sport: Tonga and PNG win opening Olympic qualifiers

Tonga and Papua New Guinea have set up a blockbuster clash at the Oceania Football Women's Olympic Qualifying event after opening day wins.

Tonga thrashed Vanuatu 5-2 in the competition opener with Piuinga Feke bagging the first hat-trick of the tournament.

Meanwhile Pacific Games champions Papua New Guinea put seven past Samoa in a 7-2 romp.

The two teams sqaure off on Saturday afternoon before Samoa and Vanuatu meet in search of their first win.

The winner of the four team tournament will progress to the home and away final against New Zealand for a place at the London Olympics.
