Pacific hopes of qualifying for the table tennis main draw at the London Olympic are over.
Having missed out on the first two automatic qualifying spots for Oceania in the men's draw, Vanuatu's Joshua Shing bowed out to New Zealander Yi Sien Lin in the semis of the third qualifying round.
Shing had earlier beaten Fiji's Richel Sen in his opening match of the day.
Meanwhole Vanuatu's Anolyn Lulu was knocked out in her first match in the women's draw.
