Fiji Warriors coach Inoke Male is pleased with the direction his team is heading in after the first leg of the Pacific Rugby Cup.
The defending champions lost their opening match against Queensland A but finished their Australian tour strongly with victories in Canberra and Sydney.
On Friday afternoon they take on the Crusader Knights in Christchurch and Male says it will provide the perfect test to see exactly how far the team has come.
"We as Fijians have come here to revive our rugby. We really need to improve from the first tournament we came here so we are trying to fix some loopholes and better manage, and after the tournament we will have a greater group team to prepare in the Pacific Nations Cup in June."
Later on Friday Tonga A take on the Blues Development team in Auckland.
