A Fiji High Court judge Justice Paul Madigan has ordered the Director of Public Prosecution office to file disclosures against Brigadier General Pita Driti.
The former land forces commander is facing charges of inciting mutiny and uttering seditious comments.
Fijilive reports that the court heard that his lawyer Filimone Vosarogo has been waiting for more than a year for the disclosures to be filed.
Last month, Brigadier General Driti was told by the court to return this month for a plea, but the case has been adjourned until April the 20th.
He was originally charged along with Ratu Tevita Mara, who fled to Tonga last May while he was free on bail.
