At least six senior executives of Dongwon Corporation, the owners of the StarKist cannery in American Samoa, will begin working at Starkist's corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh next week.
The company says it is not a takeover by Korea based personnel.
StarKist spokesperson, Mary Sestric, says it's a collaboration with the parent company to better leverage each group's expertise.
The son of the chair of Dongwon will take up the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Other key personnel from Dongwon will work in IT, finance and fish procurement.
