Fiji's Ministry of Health has lifted the 30-day typhoid quarantine ban placed on the Korobaya subdivision and Naitasiri settlement in Ba.
The two villages had been banned from travelling to and from their villages, having mass gatherings and consuming kava.
The two villages were quarantined because of the spread of typhoid after the recent flood in which six people were admitted to the hospital.
There were 14 confirmed clinical cases of typhoid but no deaths in the West.
The ministry spokesman Peni Namotu says the villages are allowed to move out of the villages again, as the ministry had finished their typhoid quarantine investigation.
He says the typhoid patients' health is improving.
