An organiser of the annual Festival of Pacific Arts, being held in Solomon Islands says there are still issues to be ironed out including quarantine.
Representatives of more than 20 of the participating countries have met this week to discuss their progress towards the event, to be held in Honiara in early July.
The Solomon Islands Festival Director Robert Au says accommodation has been arranged for participants and organisers are now dealing with final hurdles.
"I think all is in place with one or two things that's really required is with the quarantine so forth. So that's the only thing that we really need to put in place. I think quarantine is really an issue and also the water. We'll try and put all these things in place within the next three months to get everyone to be on the right footing."
Robert Au says overseas visitors for the event will start arriving in the final week of June.
