The Samoa Rugby Union board has announced that it has appointed Australian Adrian Thompson as the new head coach for the Manu Samoa national team.
Mr Thompson is with the High Performance Unit of the Australian Rugby Union.
He was the head coach of the Australia A team from 2002 to 2003.
The Manu Samoa sevens Coach Steven Betham has been appointed assistant coach.
