Sport: Rugby legends to attend first ever Marist Sevens

The inaugural Marist Sevens in American Samoa has attracted some big name attendees.

New Zealand Sevens Captain DJ Forbes, All Black Jerome Kaino, who was born in American Samoa, and former Manu Samoa internationals Peter Fatialofa and Brian Lima will all be on hand for the two day event in Pago Pago.

The Samoa Sevens team will also make an appearance.

President of the Marist St. Joseph's Old Boys Association , Toleafoa Isitolo Wulf, says 11 overseas teams are confirmed from Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and Tokelau alongside 10 local teams.

The tournament begins on Friday next week and has a first prize of 10,000 US dollars.
