Radiki Samo battles for form in Super rugby

11:42 am on 27 April 2012

The Queensland Reds rugby coach says his Fijian number eight Radiki Samo just isn't delivering.

Samao has been left out of Ewen McKenzie's squad of 23 for the second time in four week and didn't travel to Auckland for tonight's super rugby game against the Blues at Eden park,

McKenzie says Samo hasn't offered the committment required in this year's competition.

"Well we haven't been getting the bits and pieces out of him that we wanted. We've had moments. He scored a brillant try in one of the games, another 60 metre effort. So those moments are there but they are few and far between. The game, at the moment, is about breakdown, about workrate, about defences becoming a bit mor defence oreintated. Teams are winning with less possession so you have got to be doing more on that front."
