EU comes to the aid of Fiji flooding victims

The European Commission is to provide 260 thousand US dollars in aid for the victims of recent floods and landslides in Fiji.

Extensive flooding last month caused extensive damage, left thousands temporarity homeless and claimed a number of lives.

The money is to pay for food distribution to more than 22 thousand people affected.

The assistance will be implemented by the Adventist Development and Relief Agency.
