The President of the Development Bank of American Samoa, Lolo Letalu Moliga has resigned to campaign full time for the governor's seat.

Lolo has been president of the bank since 2009.

He said in his resignation letter to the Board of Directors that while he feels he could do more for the bank, he did not want to expose the bank to public criticism due to his decision to seek the position of governor.

Lolo is a former president of the Senate.

His running mate for the gubernatorial race is Senator Lemanu Peleti, also a member of the DBAS board of directors.
