About 3,000 members of the Vanuatu Seventh Day Adventist Mission have paraded through Port Vila to launch the church's centenary celebrations.
President Ioulu Johnson Abbil awarded long service medals to 40 pioneer members of the church, which is the fastest growing Christian denomination in Vanuatu.
Church dignitaries from around the Pacific are in Port Vila for the week of events.
