Fiji kick off their Pacific Netball Series defence on Wednesday afternoon in Suva, with coach Una Rokoura saying the team wants to embrace the pressure of playing on home court.
The seventh ranked Fijians play Papua New Guinea first up and Rokoura says the players are in a good head space.
"Especially having home games there's a lot of expectation with the team. It has to be a win, everyone expecting a win and I'm very confident that we've prepared the players very well and we are very determined to go out there and defend the title for the Pacific Series this year."
The opening game is between Samoa and Cook Islands.
