Today in Vanuatu's capital, the Melanesian Spearhead Group secretariat is hosting Germany's Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary for Economic Cooperation and Development, Gudrun Kopp.
The MSG Director General Peter Forau describes the visit to Port Vila by Ms Kopp and her delegation of German as historical.
He says that the visit will give an opportunity for both the MSG and the German delegation to discuss areas of need for the Secretariat as well as establish relations with the German Government and other agencies
