Well known American Samoan golfer, Tina Drabble, has died after a six-year battle with melanoma.
Her father, local businessman Tom Drabble, says the 41 year old passed away earlier this week at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
Tina, who began her golfing career when she was still in elementary school, went on to win several medals at the Pacific Games, including the gold medal in 2007.
